Krishma Goraya
With warmth, non-judgment, and a touch of humour, Krishma, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), will work with you to explore what's causing you pain, suffering, or frustration. Together, you’ll practice and strengthen coping skills to help make challenging situations and strong emotions feel less daunting. Krishma will also walk alongside you as you increase your awareness and begin to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.
Krishma has almost a decade of experience working in the social service sector, supporting a diverse range of individuals and groups as they navigate social, systemic, and individual challenges.
Krishma has extensive experience supporting survivors of intimate partner violence through her crisis counselling and advocacy work. She has also facilitated educational workshops for older adults and youth on subjects including healthy relationships, effective communication, and self-expression. Krishma supports her clients through a trauma-informed, culturally-responsive, and intersectional lens. She aims to create a therapeutic space rooted in safety, collaboration, validation, and empowerment.
